Scoutium: Building the Bridge Between Hidden Football Talent and Global Opportunities
Designing a digital ecosystem where football talent is discovered, analyzed, and connected through data-driven experiences.

Scoutium is a football technology startup that set out to digitize the scouting process. Traditionally, player discovery and evaluation were highly manual and inconsistent. Scoutium’s mission was to bring objectivity, scalability, and engagement into football talent identification.
I was responsible for designing both the web platform for clubs and scouts and the mobile app for players, ensuring the entire ecosystem worked seamlessly across very different user groups.
Challenges
The Problem We Set Out to Solve
Traditional football scouting was broken. Talent discovery relied on who you knew, where you lived, and which matches scouts could physically attend. This created massive inefficiencies and missed opportunities across the entire football ecosystem.
Business Challenge
The football industry was losing potential talent due to geographical limitations and subjective evaluation methods. Clubs spent enormous resources on scouting networks that only covered a fraction of available talent, while smaller clubs and emerging markets remained largely invisible to top-tier teams.
Key pain points:
Manual, paper-based scouting reports
Limited geographical reach
Inconsistent evaluation criteria
No centralized talent database

Technical Constraints
The platform needed to handle real-time match analysis, process thousands of video uploads, and serve diverse user groups with completely different needs - all while maintaining performance across varying internet speeds and device capabilities in different countries.
